Workers' Compensation

Started in 2000, the LGC’s Property-Liability Trust Workers’ Compensation Program (WCP) focuses on managing claims fairly and helping employees get the care they need without hassles or delays. The WCP is not a managed care organization that directs injured workers to a specific physician, facility or pharmacy. Instead, employees are free to treat with providers of their choosing.

Integrated Benefits Management

Our integrated benefits management program features a proactive recovery plan centered on preserving an employee's work relationships and facilitating an appropriate return-to-work plan. An assigned nurse case manager serves as a valuable coordination resource by facilitating communication between the employer, the injured employee, the healthcare provider and any other involved parties.

Filing a Claim

Here are two ways you can file a workers’ compensation claim with the LGC:

Provider and Pharmacy Lookup Tool

We partner with CorVel Corporation, a national provider of industry-leading workers' compensation solutions, for access to a broad-based discount provider network. To conveniently find a medical or pharmacy provider near you, visit the online Provider Lookup feature. Click on its "Search" button and choose "Workers Compensation” from the "Select a Network" drop-down box to search for a medical provider. Or choose "CorCare RX" to search for a pharmacy provider. NOTE: This feature is not an all-inclusive list of providers and pharmacies.
