Property-Liability

Our Property-Liability Trust (PLT) was created to share the risk of property losses and liability exposure of our members, which include New Hampshire schools, counties, municipalities and quasi-municipal entities. Member contributions to PLT make participation in our loss prevention and risk management programs available.

We partner with our PLT members to help identify, understand and protect against potential risk exposures. Our Member Relations Advisors have extensive backgrounds in municipal and school risk management and maintain a "member first" philosophy to successfully administer claims for our members’ benefit.

Member Agreements

The PLT provides protection to members—plus their officials, employees and volunteers—in the following areas per our Member and Educators’ Member agreements:

Filing a Claim Online

Use the “File A Claim Online” link (at left) to access LGC’s secure web portal for electronic filing of Property-Liability, Vehicle Accident or Workers’ Compensation claims. Download our Instructions on Online Claim Reporting (PDF) for detailed e-filing steps and troubleshooting tips.

Added Services

As an added service to PLT members, the LGC makes available an Employment Law Hotline. It's staffed by qualified attorneys to answer your employment-related questions. To learn more, download a PDF of our Employment Law Hotline brochure. We also reimburse PLT members for attending nonviolent crisis prevention and intervention training. Get more details by downloading a PDF of our Crisis Prevention & Intervention brochure.
